Eagle Eye timing software allows you to bring
your existing Pyro into the digital age - replacing your old VCR's with your own PC computer.

If you plan to follow the older method of writing race times down on paper and retyping them in to your results software, you can use your older Pyro-Flash timer just as it is.

However, if you intend to integrate your Eagle Eye software with Hy-Tek Meet Manager, you may need to reconfigure your pyro-flash unit.

Your current Pyro must display the time code on the left side of the screen and must do so in the correct location for Eagle Eye to internally read the race times.  If the overlay position is off, you will not be able to import race time into Hy-Tek. 
 

You must test your Timer 
  • First watch the video below will show you how to test your current Pyro-Flash for Hy-Tek compatibility.
  • Secondly, print and read the document below.
  • If you have not purchased the Eagle Eye, download our FREE TRIAL.
  • Set up the timing system and  record a small segment of video, create finish time by left clicking the bookmark feature (small blue flag at the bottom of the screen)  --- and compare the time code on the screen to the time that appears in the pop up box.  These two times must be identical in order for Eagle Eye software to integrate with Hy-Tek.
  • Note: you can test your system anywhere, i.e. your office - it does not have to be in a track meet situation.
  • Remember to trigger the Pyro-Flash before recording video with Eagle Eye.

    How to update your Timer
    If your older Pyro Flash Timer does not display the time code in the correct location, you must send it back to the manufacturer to be reconfigured.  There is no charge for this service.  We only ask that you include $10.00 to cover the cost of return shipping.
